Damaged Return

We had a buyer return an item that they claimed was missing parts when they received it. It was brand new in the box and never opened when we shipped it out. They returned an old, used item that was extremely damaged. I charged them a 100% restocking fee since it was damaged and wasn't the same item. Amazon ended up completely refunding them. I submitted a SAFE-T Claim with all the pictures and documentation showing they returned the wrong item. Amazon refunded us back 30% of the full price. After going back and forth over SAFE-T Claim page and multiple phone calls, they will not respond or talk to me about this order anymore. I've been told that is their final decision. Has anyone ever had this happen where they refuse to reimburse you like this?

I am surprised that you have not received replies from other sellers yet. Yes, it is understood that at some point in the appeal process around a SAFE-T claim that the business team will stop responding. If you will post your order number and case ID here, I will take a look and see if I can appeal on your behalf.
