Posting to Ireland
I wonder if anyone could help me with this.
I had set my shipping settings to exclude Ireland addresses but I have just received an order from that country. So my questions would be
- How has that happened when I have my settings to "No international orders, which I presume means Ireland.
- How can I make sure Ireland orders are turned off.
3)If I ultimately end up having to send this what post option do I have to choose to comply with VTR? There doesnt seem to be a post setting to send international under unless I buy it from Amazon which I don’t want to do as the post costs 10 more than the item is worth.
Thanks in advance.

I assume you mean Eire (southern Ireland), and not N.I. ?
The VTR metric is only for UK domestic shipments and not overseas, so no worries on that.

Just returning to Q1 - this comes up occasionally on the forums. The issue has always, without fail, been in the setup of the seller - I don’t recall it ever being a glitch
You will need to check…
- Your shipping settings (are you selling on the Individual Plan, or do you have several Shipping Templates? If you can screen shot your shipping settings page - we can check that.

Hi, I would not use RM to send to ROI, I have tried numerous times and they always get returned due to issues with the customs data.
I send the exact same data with DPD and every time they are delivered and usually within 3-4 days of dispatch.
My advice is to use DPD for this if you find you have to send it. I can send a 2kg parcel to ROI for £14.20 via Parcel Monkey, may be worth you checking it out.

Did the buyer put ‘UK’ at the end of the address ?
I have had this in the past with some cheeky buyers from RoI who wanted to avoid the full postage costs for international.
If you definitely have international switched off you would be within your rights to cancel the order as undeliverable though whether or not that would protect you from bad metrics is another matter.

speaking of Ireland. Has anyone noticed that its now cheaper to send MP7 to ROI over DW1
We have too many INR’s to Ireland… and this will hopefully stop it.
