Open an account on Amazon

Hello everyone, I am a foreign citizen residing in Sweden with a company registered in America and a tax number. The registered address of the company is the address of the company that established the tax number for me, not my personal address. I would like to register on Amazon and open a seller account. Can I modify the address and add my address in Sweden, or should I rent an address in America? Will Amazon accept this even if my address is not added to the company’s papers? Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

STOP! You cannot have multiple accounts on Amazon, unless under very strict policies. You should check out Seller University before going any farther.

Hi @Seller_v8HcVxlgzruGl

Connor from Amazon here, thank you for the question. You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.

Examples of a legitimate business justification include:

* You own multiple brands and maintain separate businesses for each

* You manufacture products for two distinct and separate companies

* You are recruited for an Amazon program that requires separate accounts

Please reference the resources below for more information on this as well.

Comply with Amazon’s Multiple Account policy

Address a Multiple Account Policy violation

Selling policies and seller code of conduct

Please let me know if there are any other questions.

Thanks,

Connor
