Inventory Lost in Amazon FBA US

This was my first time using Amazon FBA I choose to ship 80 Units with a value of around $180 each. I choose to let amazon handle the labeling process and a single warehouse to receive shipment to simplify the process. I have been closely monitoring my account and tracking the movement of the inventory between warehouses. Over time, I noticed that some units were being released for sale on the FBA platform, although this occurred gradually. On January 5, 2025, I observed a potential issue with my inventory. Initially, I had 22 units marked as reserved. However, when I checked the following morning, only 2 units remained, and by the next day, my inventory was entirely depleted, even though I had not received any additional sales during this period. I reached out to Seller Support and was informed that the inventory might have been moving between warehouses. I was directed to the following Amazon Fulfillment Reports and told everything would be okay. I was advised that this situation was normal, despite my concerns, and was instructed to wait until the shipment closed before reaching out again. Today, I noticed that the shipment has closed with discrepancies, showing only 55 of the 80 units. Given the current situation, I am seeking clarification and a resolution as soon as possible. I would appreciate further investigation into the inventory discrepancies and guidance on how to proceed before sending additional shipments to Amazon.

UPDATE:

I have reached out to seller support uploaded documentation and escalated the claim but have still not heard back. Have any other sellers had similar experience or advice on how to avoid these headaches in the future.
