Customers keep purchasing and returning an item because of a bad search results
Hello,
I have a product that customers keep purchasing and open returns after they get them and the return costs are adding up. Unfortunately for the most of them, the customer doesn't realize/care that it is their mistake and choose "Item not as described" or "Wrong item sent" as the return reason so we are unable to charge them for these return costs.
I am not giving full product details as I'm not sure if it is against the rules. I can provide more information if requested.
What is happening is a customer is searching for - [BRAND] [PRODUCT] 5 mini
The result list looks like this:
1 - [BRAND] [PRODUCT] 5 mini
2 - [BRAND] [PRODUCT] 5 mini
3 - [BRAND] [PRODUCT] 5
4 - [BRAND] [PRODUCT] 5 mini
The price on this 3rd listed item has all the details correct for what it is, and is clear that it is not the 'mini' that customers are searching for, but customers see that it is $120 less than the product they are actually searching for (red flag???) and make the purchase.
My question is - is it possible for Amazon to remove this product from showing up this high on the list when the customer does this specific search? Or, how can I charge for shipping fees when customers select the incorrect return option? Can I do this as a Safe-T claim?
Thank you!

Give us the ASIN so we can see how bad it is or is not.
THEN, take pictures -- lots of pictures -- of the return.
Just because the buyer SAYS the wrong item was sent does NOT mean you can't recover shipping fees.
It just means you have to show Amazon that the BUYER bought the wrong item but received EXACTLY what was ordered. That is where the pictures come in.
I will either print out the PS and lay the item on it next to the title, take a picture, and then circle or put in arrows showing the title and the item name, product number etc. telling Amazon they got what they ordered.
It doesn't always work but generally it does.
Pictures of the return envelope/box, the return label so Amazon sees it's the correct return, the contents, and anything else there is there.
