FNSKU label verifier

Hello All,

Is there any software I can use to scan and verify my FNSKU labels? I would like to scan one FNSKU label as the master and then scan the others to verify that they match. I want to ensure we are verifying our product before sending to Amazon for FBA.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but we scan all of our FNSKUs into an Excel spreadsheet as we build an FBA shipment. We then have it summarize it as a pivot table to give a total count of each FNSKU scanned and then compare it to the shipping plan (using VLOOKUP formula) to verify that the correct quantities were scanned. You could do something similar by scanning all of one product, run the pivot table report, and make sure that only one FNSKU is shown in the count.

You basically need a barcode scanner with a software that pulls your listings from your current Amazon inventory.

I am not 100% sure but I remember inventorylab does just that, it's a shipping software designed to help you send FBA, it supports scan and check every item against Amazon either SKU or FNSKU during packing stage.

Hi @Seller_0Kd9gJ1pZUROq,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help! I would recommend reviewing this help page: Summary of shipment process. I have included the info related to barcode scanning below:

Use a barcode scanner to provide carrier tracking IDs

You can use a barcode scanner to provide carrier tracking IDs in Seller Central by scanning shipping barcodes from the box label. You can also scan barcodes from receipts and invoices. This feature is available only for small parcel shipments for which you have chosen to use your own carrier.

To use this feature, your barcode scanning device must support the Code 128 barcode format. This format is typically used by carriers such as UPS and FedEx.

To provide carrier tracking IDs using a barcode scanner, follow these steps:

  1. On the Track shipment tab, click the Carrier tracking ID text field.
  2. Position the barcode scanning device above the carrier tracking ID barcode on the box label.
  3. Click 'scan' on your barcode scanning device. The carrier tracking ID will then automatically appear in the text field on the Track shipment tab.
  4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 until you have finished scanning all box labels.
  5. Click Save all on the Track shipment tab.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

Best,

Dominic
