Can you have two handmade stores?
I am thinking about transferring my main business to Amazon from Etsy since I am happy with the sells this one is generating here. Can I apply to have a second shop under the same account as my other handmade or do I have to create two separate accounts? This new handmade wouldn't have a brand registry like my first. Not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance for your help guys.

Unfortunately, this is not allowed and the you would get flagged and could also risk losing the Pro selling plan and the removal of the Handmade feature.

I think it comes down to their Bot looking for IP addresses/computers that log into multiple accounts. There are folks out there trying to "farm" new Amazon accounts to sell to others or to use for purposes counter to the TOS. Seems they might be implying that the Bot could nuke you even if you got permission to have two accounts. I've seen instances of Amazon bots not respecting exemptions/permissions.
Myself, I have 5 Etsy shops, but dump it all under a single AmzHm account, and list all as Generic. My experience of Amazon, both as shopper and seller, is largely Search and Listing based. YMMV
