Categories and products that require approval

Can anyone help me if there is a list of products (based on UPC) that require approval when listing?

I'm on my 10th product I'm trying to list, but all of them require an invoice in advance.

Thank you!

From your wording we understand that you are very new and that your only source of information were some facebook groups. Take 4-5 weeks and study seller university in your seller central, especially the part about correct sourcing. You can not go buy things in retail shops and resell on Amazon.

You should assume that the only products you can list are either your own brand or that you will need a written letter of authorization that specifies resale on amazon from the brand.

Hi there @Seller_oomxF46vrHNgJ,

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. There isn't an explicit list of products that require approval by ASIN or UPC but the help page indicates a large number of the categories that require approval.

However, Amazon may require documentation for any product and I do not recommend attempting to list products you have not yet sourced as it is not generally the best practice. Rather than just listing any product that doesn't require approval I would recommend you research and see what products currently are needed or are competitive on Amazon. In my experience success can never be guaranteed, but preparation can ensure you pick products that can do well.

Once you have some of your products you can then present the invoice if you need to get approval. I recommend you review the invoice requirements and sourcing guidelines to give you some insights into how best succeed selling on Amazon. Thank you for your understanding.
