Account Has Been Suspended - Amazon Incorrectly Flagged My Item
I have been selling on the Amazon platform for almost a decade as a merchant fulfilled seller. I sell my branded batteries. Earier this year, Amazon incorrectly flagged my batteries as a medical device, and said I violated their policy by selling a medical device which is incorrect. They asked for pictures of the package, product, etc. I have provided all of this, but then they keep asking for a 510K number as they think my item is a medical device. I do not have a 510K number, and even submitted my UL certificate to the case which clearly states that the item that UL (a reputable certification) certified this as a battery. I keep getting the same copy and paste response from the representatives, and even have asked the reps to transfer the case to an American based team as they do not seem to understand that a battery is not a medical device and just copy and paste the same response every time which has become infuriating.
I am asking for anyones advice and mods to help me get more assistance on this as I believe that the product listing, my pictures I have submitted of the packaging, UL certification etc. clearly proves that Amazon incorrectly flagged and suspended my account for selling medical devices when I ONLY sell my brand of batteries.
I even went ahead and deleted the listing so Amazon cannot say I am selling "medical devices"; however, Amazon still will not reinstate the account and the reps still ask for a 510K.

If you have opened any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help.
Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.
They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…

Any MODS willing to help escalate this to the appropriate team would be greatly appreciated!
I have opened several cases as Amazon flagged multiple listings incorrectly and each appeal opened a new case which I have listed below:

This in general is a HUGE problem with Amazon right now; bots are flagging accounts and their human handlers are either refusing (since it is easier and safer for them to deny subsequent documents) or are not trained to deal with the issue.
Amazon has a very poor reputation with their code; we have all had experiences with programs not performing properly and Amazon's refusal to pull or even modify them.
There was a Reddit post about 2 months ago they appeared to be from an Amazon employee that confirmed rejecting documents is easier and safer for employees.

Amazon uses an automated system to flag listings which is efficient; however, the system is not 100% accurate. The issue is that Amazon then passes the support to an offsite team who does not understand the mis categorization/issue, and go off a script and will keep copying and pasting the same thing even if it does not apply to you....

Hello @Seller_MqatDrPJvyzjB
Thank you for the information provided regarding the restricted product concerns and the impact they have had on your account. I do want to get you support as I understand the repeated messaging you have received has caused increasing frustration while you have been attempting to resolve the medical device claims.

I was able to review the cases and did see where our team had concerns over your products being prescription use only. I was able to work with another team to get better insight, and they had communicated that there were concerns with the way the product is being described as it does mention being a replacement for an ECG which may be causing the flag for medical claims. Have you attempted to make any kind of edits to the listing to better clarify what the product is intended for?
In addition to this, I was also able to confirm that the issue that caused the account deactivation was not the concern with the restricted products, but rather there may have been verification that needed to be completed. They stated that the messaging that included the details was provided to you on 4/30/25, so I would encourage you to review all the inboxes that you have to ensure that you did not miss this.
I will continue to monitor for any other details or updates that you are able to share so that guidance can be provided to you.
Best,
Atlas

Selling on Amazon 2025, actually after 2021 is frustrating,
I don't know us USA sellers always cannot get helps...
The supports from India will just keep making circle and never solve the problem :(

Did you get this sorted out? Amazon's communication and policies are not good, this is a hard place for 3P sellers.

@Atlas_Amazon
We all know Amazon's Account Health system is beyond broken; communication and policies are vague at best and Amazon purposefully restricts information. As a mod and in your role advocating for 3P sellers, you need to do better here.

It looks like @Atlas_Amazon has not responded to the previous few responses related to this so I am hoping that tagging any other mods may help you further.
