Amazon has changed my shipping handling times again...

Here we go again...I wake up today once again to see that Amazon has changed all my items to ship in one day. This includes items that are custom made and require 3 days drying and curing time that can't possibly ship the same day they are ordered.

The difference this time is they appear to have removed any way to set a handling time and change it back. Looks like I will have to remove about 75% of my catalog if I can't figure this out.

Any help, if anyone knows of a way to adjust the time settings. I have the transit times pushed out as far as I can right now but it still doesn't give me enough time.

I see the option now for handling time I can adjust is either same day or 1 day. The learn more tab says I can adjust the handling time at the SKU level on the inventory page. I already have that set to 5 days for the items that require it. It is apparently being over ridden. If I look at my listings it tells me I can have these products as early as two days from now if I order in the next 9 hours....what the heck!

Keeping handling time under your control is a two-part process. It sounds like you do have handling time set at the SKU level -- that is one part.

The other part of assiduously not allowing automation in the default handling time. If you allow automation for that default handling time, it will override your SKU-specific handling (no that does not make sense).

You have to check on a regular basis.

And of course -- make sure you have not allowed any automation in shipping templates.
