Strange, UPS suddenly switched all their prices on Amazon when we are selecting ship speed. From ground to 3 day, prices are 2-3x more? Fed ex we noticed came down, did Amazon suddenly change their partnership or something?

@KJ_AmazonHi! So I first noticed it yesterday around 4PM when I was trying to buy a label for UPS on the regular shown rates but it kept giving us an error. I figured it was a glitch, so I waited until the morning and tried again but this time all the UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day and UPS 3 day prices were full retail. An example is a 10x 8x 4 package weighing 2LBS usually costs $8.50-17 max depending on ship location, today the same package was showing to cost $55 to ship. There are zero discounts with UPS, I immediately thought UPS and Amazon changed their contract like what other sellers said but you would know better on that subject. Please let us know when we can expect the UPS discounted rates to come back or we will have to adjust all our shipping expectations. Thank you !

I'm dealing with this today too! Yesterday is was UPS being unavailable in the latter part of the day and today it's UPS prices being 2-3 times higher than normal

@KJ_Amazon I think I figured it out! So the display pricing is full retail but if you check the actual buy shipping button, it should reflect the actual amount we will be charged! Hope this helps everyone out who is stuck with their UPS orders!

We are also having the same issue since 08/12/2024. Prices are almost double what they were last week. It is now 08/13/2024 3:20 PM CST, and we are receiving this error message: "Error occurred while purchasing a label, please try with different ship method"
The only other ship method is USPS priority mail express, which is more than double the price of UPS ground, and exceeds our revenue on the sale.

What are we supposed to do here? Sell at a loss? Ship with a 3rd party and lose OTDR protection and claims protection? Cancel the order? The post office and the UPS store are going to close soon.
We need this fixed Amazon!

I cannot believe how cheap FedEx is for large packages. I just shipped 44 pound Yamaha receiver in 18 x 19 x 29 box for $22.
I can't drive to the Illinois border for $22.
