Tracking lightweight packages with Pitney Bowes
We sell decals on multiple platforms. Shipping has always been a problem because our product weighs less than two ounces and is flat. Etsy and eBay have solved this problem for us by offering tracking for First Class USPS through Pitney Bowes. We can buy postage through those platforms for just 88 cents and our clients can see the packages tracked. This means we can offer free shipping to our clients, which has increased sales on those two platforms.
On Amazon the requirement for tracking means we have to put our product in a "package" to qualify for the the cheapest tracking method which is through USPS at $4.50. That's half the price of our product. And to qualify for that, we have to use a different mailer than a flat envelope, adding useless bubble wrap to bubble mailers to make the packages qualify for tracking. It's expensive, wasteful, and time consuming.
I do not understand how the largest online marketplace can't offer tracking through Pitney Bowes for lightweight items. All we need to ship our product is an envelope with a piece of cardstock. That's what we use for eBay and Etsy. Why doesn't Amazon offer this service?

Thanks for that feedback about Amazon Buy Shipping @Seller_yp5DqfSl6OXdE.
Amazon does offer a method for sellers to select "tracking exempt" shipments, but you are correct that the particular service you mention is not offered in Buy Shipping or included as part of the Buy Shipping guarantees.
