Amazon fba shipments - how can i send an item to amazon that already is boxed do i need to put it into another box?
Hi all,
i am planning on shipping some items to fba - usually, id pack my units into bigger boxes and add the box label and skus as it is done. However with this item i plan to send, it already comes in a big box i want to send 10 of them can i just attach the box label to the actual box with the SKU on it? or do i have to pack it into another box?
- for example, if i was selling a pack of 50 envelopes (which come already in pretty large boxes) i would put the sku barcode label onto the box and then what would i do?- could i stick the box label on it also as it already is a big box it would be a waste of resources and time to pack it into another box, or would i have to put it into a separate box and then add that box label on top ?
it might be a odd question but im not sure how to go about it
- also this will be a small parcel shipment NOT pallet shipment

If your happy with the customer receiving the item potentially without extra packaging, then putting a label on the box the product comes in is fine. Also just think whether you as a customer would be happy to receive an item that is packaged this way, just a thought.
The reason I say this is because Amazon sometimes chooses to send products out without their own box, just the box the product comes in and then they stick a label on it for delivery.
Just make sure you put in the shipping plan that you are sending in 10 boxes and then use the web form to state what's it each box, weight, size etc.
