Final tax liability assessment for unpaid UK VAT

Hi Amazon Concern Team @Julia_Amzn,

This is an urgent matter.

We have downloaded all the tax invoices from the Amazon VAT Transaction Report, and the amount we calculated is £282,018.90. We received the "Final tax liability assessment for unpaid UK VAT" on May 28, 2024. Amazon stated that we need to pay historical VAT of GBP 265,818.93.

As Amazon started mandating the payment of VAT services from 2021, the TAX_COLLECTION_RESPONSIBILITY in the AVTR should be changed to Marketplace, and the amount should match the GBP 265,818.93 you provided. However, the report we downloaded shows that the value of Marketplace is 0.

Please provide the EXACT amount of tax paid by Amazon so that we can request a refund from the UK Government.

On June 6th, 2024 we had received the VAT liability breakdown report from Seller Support team, the amount is GBP 260,281.96. However, the amount is a little bit off from the GBP 265,818.93 we received from Performance notifications(Final tax liability assessment for unpaid UK VAT).

What can we do now? We sent the email to the conern team on May 31 and also June 4 2024.

Since on June 3rd and June 6th, 2024, the concern team sent us the same email:

"Hello,

Thank you for writing to us regarding your seller account.

Your case has been transferred to the specialized team, you will receive a response in the next 72 hours.

Sincerely,

Seller Performance Team

Amazon.co.uk"

How many 72 hrs should we wait? This is an urgent matter, and we hope we can find Amazon support to help us out.

Please provide the EXACT amount of tax paid by Amazon so that we can request a refund from the UK Government, and later on we can pay to Amazon for unpaid VAT.
