AWD Shipment over SLA - taking over a month instead of 4 days
Hi, is anyone having issues with AWD Shipment?
My first shipment was delivered to the AWD IUSP on Sep 12 and the tracking status is still "In transit" today (Oct 11), even though on the website the AWD service is advertised with a 2 - 4 days window for receiving.
I opened a ticket and they say there is no one they are able to escalate this to. The only information that I have is: "The trailer is in the FC yard but it has not yet been unloaded. The freight will likely show in transit until the FC offloads and marks it as received. Amazon does not advise the carrier of the projected unload date."
How can this be a reliable service if the first step of receiving the shipment takes at least 8x longer?!

I'm sorry to read about this experience, and thank you for sharing the timeline and details here. If you can share you case ID or shipment ID in question I will research this issue with our AWD partners and advise here as soon as I hear back.

We are having the same delays where it is taking a month for AWD to receive the items. And now our closest warehouse in MD is not accepting shipments - assuming they are full. We are afraid to send any Christmas items in at this point to AWD because afraid they will not make it in time and will not arrive. I met AWD people at Accelerate and have emailed them several times but they do not respond to emails about this.
