Pet Supplement Listing Keeps Getting Blocked – Need Help Understanding Why
Hi sellers,I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar issue or can offer advice.
I’ve been trying to list a pet probiotic supplement product on Amazon, but the listing keeps getting blocked or removed shortly after uploading, without a clear explanation.
The product is:Manufactured in a certified facilityMade with human-grade, vet-approved ingredientsContains no restricted substancesPackaged and labeled according to both FDA and Amazon’s supplement guidelinesDespite following all the rules I could find (including not making unapproved claims), I still receive rejection notices or my listings disappear entirely from the catalog. I've submitted COA, product label images, and detailed documentation, but nothing seems to resolve the issue.
Seller Support has only responded with generic policy links without pointing to any specific violation.
Is there a specific process or form required for approval to list pet supplements now?Do new sellers face restrictions for entering this category? If anyone has dealt with this — or has tips on how to successfully get a pet supplement listed — I’d greatly appreciate your insight.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @Seller_ybby2AQZ2wPnO,
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible customer experience, Amazon has implemented additional restrictions for ingestible Brands, a.k.a pet supplements. Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications for ingestible brands at this time.
If you feel that the categorization is wrong, please reach out to Seller Support so they can investigate this for you. If you are able to get this re-categorized, please provide me with the new case ID so I can look into this further for you.
If you are a brand owner, I recommend working with an attorney experienced in IP and the trademark office to understand the best path forward for you to have intellectual property in the updated product class.
If you are not a brand owner but have a relationship with the brand directly, you can reach out to them to ask them to add you as an Authorized Reseller of their brand in Brand Registry, which may get you approved to list their items.
I know this is not the outcome that you were hoping for, but I thank you for your understanding.
Regards,
- Manny
