In House Delivery without Tracking for Bulky Furniture Items

Hi

I have been selling furniture for a while and I have a In House delivery team. I asked amazon regarding this they told me if I would use Other Courier in the Courier Options and type Self Delivery I would not get any ODR.

Things were pretty smooth and after delivering these orders I had the proof of document with me as well for every order.

Now amazon recently put my account in temporary review and asked me to produce the documents that the orders were successfully delivered.

I had provided all the proof of delivery documents but they now require additional documents now.

What can be done to reduce this hassle?

Is this to do with your VTR ? - are you confirming shipment correctly ? - just a thought ??

Use Self Delivery and Self Delivery from the drop downs.

"If you deliver shipments through your own logistics, select “Self-delivery” as Carrier and Delivery service when you confirm shipment."

You can still include a tracking number if you have one.

According to the VTR policy, self-delivery should be exempt shipments for VTR calculations. So the issue might be because you aren't confirming as required, they are checking.

It could be there's no way to avoid this, as amazon just want to double check every so often.

Thanks for your prompt response!

Yes, but I do the same and my VTR is fine. But what can I do for the proof of delivery? There are some furniture sellers getting huge sales with their In House delivery teams. I ordered from them to check as well.

They are doing the same but still selling while as if I tried to do and got an email from amazon stating to provide proof of deliveries. Valid from their end but even after providing they still require now further information.

How can I do this should I update each and every order update on my website (Tracking Section) and and put the link their so customers can track and see the updates!

In your initial post - you said you chose Other and typed Self-Delivery. That is different to choosing Self-Delivery specifically from the dropdowns.

I'm not sure what you mean by the last sentence. If you have a tracking number, it would make sense to put this in - but without knowing how you are updating tracking, its hard to advise.

I do not have a tracking number as it's my staff/employee who deliver these furniture in our own company vans.

When selecting "Other" option you get a field to write the name of the non integrated courier that does not appear in the list of couriers mentioned by amazon.

Not Other. Self-Delivery is an option on the main Carrier dropdown.

Yes I am able to see it.

Also if you could guide is it definite like someone opens up a return it's always A-Z ?

How can I prevent this as my ODR gets high!!!

Why is your ODR so high?

ODR defects occur due to bad feedback, A-Z claims and chargebacks.

A return request being opened up doesn't lead to an A-Z as a standard.

You'd need to explain more.
