How to Report Customer Return Fraud, including Customer Theft, Step by Step, in under 60 seconds

Hi, all! Hope this helps somebody! To report the crooked customer who is committing return fraud/ theft:

1. open a Seller Support case, click on "my issue isn't listed here" In the search box type "violation of return policy".

2. It should give you an option to click on a link that says to "report a violation".

3. Then click the blue link that says "report abuse"

4. from the menu list, choose "report a buyer abusing Amazon returns policy".. Select the reason for abuse of returns, paste the order number in order box , and check the box to select the item fraudulently returned. Fill in explanation of fraud

Do this for EACH ORDER where buyer committed fraud. If they stole from you five times, Amazon needs to know they did it five times. It also cost them all their Commission for five orders.

Report every order where a customer cost you all your Revenue and Amazon its commission, until Amazon either stops them or gives us the ability to block them. Hope this helps. 🙏💪💯

reporting isn't the issue, pretty sure everyone figures out how to report. Amazon doing anything about it is exceptionally rare, if not unheard of.

Done many times, never worked for us.

AMAZON won't do anything about it, one time a seller support rep. replied to my claim by saying I should get used to it, it's part of the business........?

Equally effective: write your complaint on a napkin in crayon and post it on your refrigerator.

Big issue here - this is what mine looks like (note I have no "customer who is violating return policies) so it is immediately rejected because they can't see what is wrong (even though 100% of 40 orders of the same 2-3 items have been returned in 1 month)

My most recent deposit for Amazon sales was one dollar and ten cents. 10 years ago I was bringing in $1,000 to $1,500 per month on this site. Had very few switcheroo customers but now I get people stealing very cheap books (under $10). eBay is so much better. Their policies are based on honesty, logic, and reason and, if an issue arises with a questionable transaction, I can speak to a human being. They are very protective of their small sellers. To Amazon we are little more than turds being tossed into a running fan.

This is systemic on Amazon and ONLY happens on Amazon, because Amazon has conditioned the customers on how do do this successfully. I can ship 100 packages elsewhere, and 100% with tracking and delivery confirmed. On Amazon, same process, 10% customers report as not received. Same process. The common denominator is Amazon POLICY.
