When creating a buy one get one promo, the "Buyer benefit applies to a quantity of" field won't let you put zero or one. I want them to buy one, and get one free. So what am I supposed to put here?! Why is everything on amazon so hard?!!!

Tatiana from Amazon here! When creating a buy one get one promotion, you'll want to ensure that everything has a value of 1 or greater. See an example for a buy one item, get one free promotion below:
1.First, in the Buyer purchases drop down list you'll want to select At least this quantity of items and enter 1. This means that the buyer must purchase at least 1 item in order to be eligible for the free item.
2.Next, you'll move to the Buyer gets dropdown. You will select Free items. You will then choose which product will be the free item by selecting Applies to. You will choose either:
- Purchased item (buyer buys one item and gets an additional unit of the same item for free) OR
- Additional Item (buyer buys one unit of the promoted ASIN and will get one unit of a different ASIN for free).
3. Whether you choose purchased item or additional item, you will set the quantity to 1. This means the buyer will get 1 item free.
