Amazon lost package and will only refund $100
I recently shipped an order thats was worth over $500 through amazon shipping ground. I had made it so the buyer needs to sign in order to receive the package. Ultimately the packaged was “refused” as amazon tried delivering it 3 times but the buyer never accepted it. In this case the item was supposed to be returned to me. However amazon lost the package on it was back to me. The shipment status never updated. Ultimately I files a claim but due to amazon’s policy the maximum refund they give is $100. Has anyone dealt with a situation like this before and what should I do in the future so I don’t get ripped off by only getting a partial refund

add insurance if it is valuable.....(though that may mean you can't use Amazon Buy shipping...)

I am sorry you had this experience. @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EIhas provided good guidance. If the item you are shipping is valuable, it is recommended that you pay the fee to increase the amount of insurance coverage from $100 to the amount that will cover the value of the product if it is lost.
