Need Advice: Sudden Drop in Star Rating

Hey everyone,

I began my journey as an Amazon seller two months ago, FBA private label . I took great care to ensure my product was made from premium-quality materials. I conducted extensive tests to guarantee customer satisfaction and prevent any potential negative reviews.

Over the course of two months, I received only two reviews. Surprisingly, one of them was a Vine review, despite not being enrolled in the Vine program. Fortunately, both reviews were positive, resulting in a 4.5-star rating.

Initially, my sales and ranking during those tow months struggled due to my limited knowledge of PPC. However, after refining my strategy, my sales began to stabilize and even scale. Unfortunately, in just one day, I received a one-star review with no feedback, and a two-star review with a very negative feedback which honestly I doubt to be true. This sudden drop in my star rating, from 4.5 to 2.6 stars, has led to a complete drop in sales. from finally 9 sales for the first time to ZERO sales the very next day.

Since I'm not brand registered, I know there is no way to address this directly with the customers. Additionally, with sales at a standstill, I'm finding it difficult to gather more reviews. I feel quite stuck in this situation.

I'm reaching out to ask if anyone has experienced a similar situation or has any advice on how to navigate this challenge. I'm feeling really frustrated and any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey @Seller_QwEWuTHA1X5H6, to address the matter of your ASIN receiving Vine reviews even though you haven't enrolled in Vine, you also mentioned that you are not enrolled in Brand Registry, so it's possible that another seller listing on the ASIN is responsible.

As for the review situation, you can read up on the customer review policy here. I'd also like to point you to the Grow Your Business category of the Forums for ideas on gaining more visibility!
