Being charged incorrectly on Amazon Ads "fixed bids"
We have a campaign we recently launched to test out "fixed bids" Over the past 3 days we have the campaign at $25 per day and $.50 per click, fixed bids. "With the fixed bids strategy, Amazon will use your exact bid for all opportunities and won’t adjust your bids. Compared to dynamic bidding strategies, you may get more impressions, but fewer conversions for your ad spend with this strategy."
Our ACOS is 260% (honestly I have never seen an ACOS that high) and over 3 days it's gone out of budget daily. The average cost per click . . . . $1.47. How is it if we do fixed bids at $.50 we are being charged $1.47 per click?
We also have campaigns where we indicate a bid amount of $.50, that's dynamic - down only and the cost per click is $.72. Why do we set parameters on ads if Amazon is not going to follow our budget and spend requirements? Is there something I am not doing correctly or have overlooked?

Hi @Seller_VnwICARmIz18F,
It sounds like there could be a budget rule or a bid setting that might be off. It's hard to know without looking into the campaign first.
Have you reached out to Ads Support on this issue yet? If you haven't, definitely reach out to them. Once you have created a case with Ads Support, go ahead and share the Campaign ID in question and the support case ID.
