How to protect my listing from other sellers? I'm brand registered.
Hello everyone,
I’m brand registered (USPTO) and selling my products under my own brand. Some weeks ago I found out that other Amazon sellers are selling their products under my brand name, and they are winning the buy box due to their low prices. I have tried reaching out to Amazon support, including Brand Registry, but they require me to make a test purchase and prove that buyers are receiving different products. The problem is that there are LOTS of different sellers who are attaching themselves to my listing (for a couple of hours), sometimes even multiple at a time.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this situation?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello @Seller_kRguQ3PDHtRM4
My name is Sandy from the Community manager team here on forums.
Would you please reply back with a case ID or complaint ID so I can look into the best way to report a violation against sellers?
Additionally, to answer your question: Why are there other sellers on my listing that I did not approve?
Typically, a seller can use someone else’s trademark in the following circumstances:
- When selling authentic goods, a seller may use a trademarked name to list those goods. For example, a seller who lists an authentic “Pinzon” product is not necessarily infringing on the owner of the Pinzon trademark because the seller is using the trademark to identify an authentic product.
- When using a trademarked word in its ordinary dictionary meaning.
- When making truthful statements that a product is compatible with a trademarked product. For example, if you offer a cable that is compatible with the Kindle e-reader, you can use the brand name “Kindle” to indicate that compatibility in the text of your detail page. You cannot use a logo to indicate compatibility, only the brand name. Any statement you make about compatibility must be true.
Taken from help page (Bullet point 6)
If you believe these sellers are listing on your brand but selling counterfeit products, you are able to report them by completing a test buy.
However, there are many ways to strengthen your detail page to make sure other sellers do not pick your ASIN to list on as well.
Once I receive more information through the case ID/ complaint ID you have I would be happy to look into it deeper.
Best,
Sandy
