Hello, I have a request regarding the deposit.

Hello, I hope you can help me with this; I am a new seller on Amazon. I couldn't sell last month because I couldn't upload products yet, but I paid a deposit of $40. I am about to find a product that will sell a lot. By the way, I need a fee. Can the deposit be refunded? Is this possible? Thank you, good work, with love. @Roberto_Amazon

If you paid $ 39.99 that was the monthly fee. Amazon doesn't take any deposit. You can avoid this monthly fee by downgrading your account from the "Professional selling plan" to the "Individual selling plan". I will link here an older thread explaining how to do it:

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/cd663b3e-845c-468b-9d0a-64297df7d032

In the future you can easily find the answer to such basic questions on Google. (Or in seller central, but I guess you "don't know how", means you didn't take the time to find out how).

Amazon has a set of videos called Seller University. Please watch those before you spend any further money.

And as suggested, downgrade your account to Individual sooner rather than later, as the monthly fee will keep on being charged until you do.

" I am about to find a product that will sell a lot."

Who says they will? Do you have a guarantee in writing?

And, frankly, if you are concerned about $40 you are WAY undercapitalized for selling on Amazon or any other site. It is almost impossible to do a 'starter order' with any brand that you can get an LOA from for under $1000 (if not $5,000 these days).

I strongly suggest that you read this post by a rookie who was fed a line of BS by Jungle Scout to the tune of $10,000 and has had ZERO SALES for the 'hot items'.

"I selected 7 products using Jungle Scout data and insights. I ensured the products had good demand, decent profit margins, and relatively manageable competition."
