USPS 12+ Days to Deliver

Out of the last 100 orders, about a dozen have taken USPS 12+ days and up to 20 days to deliver. That means a dozen buyers requesting refunds even though the package arrives a week later.

We always explain that we arent the USPS and therefore cant control how long it takes, but we're losing money and getting bad reviews B/C of the post office slow delivery.

Any insight?

USPS has been a disaster for the last 4 months, we moved to FedEx and UPS for anything going over 500 miles away. If you can afford to do that I would highly recommend it.

The missing mail search page rarely ever works, no support staff reply to emails, everything seems designed to frustrate you in hopes you'll give up and go away. USPS is on it's way out!

I've had the same problem, we end up refunding and losing the label cost too. Then some customers requesting replacements so we lose 3x.

USPS priority mail going from west to east coast has been taking more than 10 business days since December with many lost packages. I've filed maybe 20 claims on USPS throughout the past 12 months and never got a single claim approved.

hopefully you have a good working relationship with your postmaster. I have been complaining like crazy to mine and I know personally mine has spent hours on the phone trying to get my packages delivered. I have multiple right now over a month. I will say this as long as you ship them on time then even if the customer opens and wins a claim you should be able to appeal and get refunded back from amazon once they are scanned delivered. So far any of mine that have also just been delivered late and then the customer has opened up a return request and returned the safe-t claim has paid shipping both ways back to me after 3-4 messages.

Same here. Understandable if it was during December but it's happening in January as well. It's ridiculous.

From my conversation wit a regional USPS agent, he stated USPS is eliminating some locations.

Our local post office used to accept parcels for commercial businesses on legal holidays and no longer does this. USPS used to have staff working

on the legal holidays to accommodate businesses not now. The last year actually is horrible with USPS.

Scan skipping is a new norm, many packages do not receive scans regularly. We have 20 plus packages with cases open that no answers can be given as to where the packages are for months. When we go to fill out a online claim the links do not work. Seems large businesses really care less about the peasants these days. Fact of the matter is-you advertise 3-5 days delivery and keep falling short of the delivery promises a lawsuit will eventually start. Im pretty used to waking up and answering 10-20 package inquires. Thats life online.

Post some tracking numbers for review. This is either an isolated incident or weather related. People love to bash the post office, but I ship thousands and only a handful have issues like this.

We many that are over 30 days to deliver. Its out of control and something has to be done about this.

We are getting bad reviews and losing money when this entire issue is from a 3rd party that no one has control over!

USPS Has been a total hot mess the last few months! One of the worst examples was when I had a small first class package take 13 days to go 108 miles within the same state. USPS didn't scan it after it left until arrival scan... So I assumed it was long gone a few days before it arrived!
