Customer is asking i pay the difference that they had to pay to USPS
I have a customer who messaged me asking that we pay the insufficient funds difference from a postage that we shipped to Hawaii. We use a system that give us the postage total based on their location so this doesn't make much sense. Can someone please advise on what to do with this situation. I have attached there message details below.
"There was a delivery from USPS postal service yesterday. The return address is from your company. I needed to pay for insufficient postage which totaled $4.65. Please get back to me to let me know how I will be reimbursed. I have not opened the envelope yet."
Thank you,

Ask them to provide the receipt or confirmation of the insufficient funds?

As @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9 stated, ask the buyer for a receipt or other confirmation of postage due on the order. Then, should you decide to reimburse the buyer, you can do so by making a concession for the amount following the information found on the help page below.
