Lost inventory reimbursement reversal. Inventory found 5 months later!
I shipped 1000 items to Amazon at the beginning of November 2022 however the warehouse lost all of the items. I was therefore reimbursed in December for this error. Amazon have today found 997 of the items and have reversed the reimbursement (5 months later). The item was very seasonal and for use during the colder months so I will be unable to sell now.
What would be the best course of action for me? Any advice would be appreciated!

If they will affect your IPI , I’d look at possibly removing them
I’m not sure when they count long term storage fees from though either - now, or when they were sent ? @Demel

That is not on, you cannot withdraw a reimbursement 5 months later just because someone suddenly found the stuff!
Must be a law against that.

I had the same situation where they found a couple of units of some antivirus software that was about 4 years out of date and could not even be used.
I tried to argue my case but they just said tough and gave me instructions on how to create a removal order.
