FBA carton label on case-packs of single sku pallet?
Keep finding inconsistent info so hope someone can help.
To be clear on semantics, there are 3 lables:
1. Item sku label (FNSKU): attach on all individual case pack units and cover UPC.
2. FBA Carton label
3. Pallet Label (upper middle on all 4 sides of pallet).
I am shipping 1 pallet with 100 case packs of a single sku (ready to ship and not in a master carton/box).
I am clear on item #1 and #3. But don't understand #2 FBA Carton labels in my case. If I were to put the 100 case packs in a box, I would only need 1 FBA label on the outer box. Not sure why it's different for a pallet.
In creating the shipping workflow, I setup a template for Single Sku Pallet.
There are 100 case packs. So if I setup the template as:
Units per box = 1 and measurement/weight of individual case pack (i.e. 10"6"3" 5lbs each)
Boxes per pallet = 100
Then it will force me to print 100 FBA carton labels to apply to each and every case pack. That can't be right as I've very rarely seen FBA carton labels directly adhered to shippable case packs.
If I do this, can I simply not print and apply the FBA carton labels? That sounds like a potential problem.
Then I thought maybe with the template setup, I could treat the pallet as one large box so:
Units per box = 100 (dimension and weight of entire pallet)
Boxes per pallet = 1
That would generate a single FBA carton label that I would apply to the pallet and makes sense.
If I were to wrap the pallet in cardboard, it would in essence be a box. Maybe another option is I repack the 100 case packs into 20 boxes of 50 and then just apply 2 FBA carton labels.
I'm trying to avoid a big FBA Carton sticker on the branded case pack. It would cover the entire product name, image, etc. and I've very rarely seen items from Amazon received this way. Can't be normal.
The issue with customer service is they keep thinking each case pack is a box that needs to be opened and received. Picture a box of cereal that is branded and ready to ship. You wouldn't put an FBA Carton label on the box of cereal if there were 100 boxes on the pallet.
Or maybe that is indeed the rule and 99% of people break the rule??

I just spoke with customer support and they were very clear that in such cases you do not need the FBA carton label. I rephrased the question several times, and had them repeatedly confirmed this.
Additionally, this would better follow Amazon's policy of not including source information on consumer facing labels.
Can we get expert to chime in on this? Does anyone else ship this way already? I see significant labor/cost savings if this is viable.

Hello @Seller_EFHeoCOKu6R5c. I see that you have a few discussions going on, and my colleague is working with you in this thread: Box Labels vs Pallet Labels.
Please let me know if that covers the question you posted here.
