AMAZON STEALING FROM ME US LLC Account Deactivated due to DAC7 (European Law) 2 MONTHS NO HELP NO SOLUTION
I´ve tried to receive help from Amazon seller support for 2 months already because at the beginning of the year my account showed that I needed to submit information for the DAC7 Act.
When I click the link, it says ERROR your profile is not required to submit this information. Which makes sense because we are a US Business with US Registered Address. We even went through the INFORM ACT recently.
After 2 months of keeo waiting and calling they solved my case saying that I do not have to worry because that DAC7 does not apply to me and that it would dissappear and not affect my account. Amazon customer service agents can check my case14615748861 and see all the details...
Now here we are. My account is DEACTIVATED and the same DAC7 Requirement with the same ERROR is showing up. I call customer service and nobody seems to even now this bug is hapenning even though there are many sellers with this issue.
Worst thing is they are keeping my 3,500$ I was suposed to receive from my funds in a few days.... How convenient for them...
Does anyone know how to solve this ?? I feel if i am lucky they will solve this by 2025....

And you don't sell on any European marketplace? Nor can Europeans buy your units from amazon.com?

Hi @Seller_b5HDi6WIPCQrZ,
Thank you for your post. I understand you are dealing with a DAC 7 issue.
"When I click the link, it says ERROR your profile is not required to submit this information."
Can you share where you are accessing this link? Was this given in the performance notification you received when the account was deactivated, or was this link somewhere within that account itself?
In most instances, you can access the VAT specific link from the Tax Information box on the Account Info page within your account. You should be able to upload the required information from there.
"Which makes sense because we are a US Business with US Registered Address."
I understand you operate only in the US store, but if you are based in either the EU or UK, you would need to undergo the VAT verification process regardless of what market in which you are selling. Any details within the account that can demonstrate contact with the UK or EU would also require the verification, even if you have a US business address.
"Worst thing is they are keeping my 3,500$ I was suposed to receive from my funds in a few days"
This standard practice. Amazon will withold funds disbursement for deactivated accounts. Once the account has been deactivated for 90 days, you may request a secondary review for funds disbursement. Additionally, should you get the account reinstated, you would then resume receiving funds at that time.
Having said all of this, I did reach out to our team prior to my reply, and can confirm your case is still under review. While no further action is needed from you at this time, please continue to monitor your Account Info, Account Health, and Performance Notification pages for further updates as they become available.
Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or account updates, and we will assist you as best we can.
Regards,
Troy
