I have always used photoshop to cut the product from the background but it is super tedious and time consuming on some items. Last year I purchased an iphone 13 and have been using it to take product photos and then import to photoshop to edit. Just by accident last week I took a product photo on my iphone and when I was looking at that photo I pressed my thumb down on the image by accident and then low and behold the product image was selected and then I clicked Share > Save Image. I then opened up the image and it was a perfect photo with a white background. I now take photos without even using a white background because the iphone is so great at selecting the image I photographed and removing the background. The only catch is the photo is in file format HEIC so it must be opened and then saved as a jpeg, png for amazon to accept it. I can literally take a product photo, cut the background out and have it posted in less than two minutes time. Discovering this feature on my iphone was like a dream come true.
