Damaged Product

Hi, wondered if anyone could help. Customer has received their Amazon (FBA) order and I have i checked voice of the customer and they have gave me a negative feedback rating (this does not show on the main selling page) their reason, they just said is was damaged.

All stock sent to Amazon is always well packaged with foam padding etc, this was checked in by Amazon with no problems, I’ve had no other customers complain but rate my product highly.

Now this could be damage while on route for delivery to the customer, is there anything I can do to get this removed.

It doesn’t really matter where it was damaged Amazon will keep the NCX mark on Voice of the Customer. If it was damaged by Amazon in their fulfilment centre or on route to the customer by the courier then it is unlikely Amazon will admit responsibility now.

The customer may have just said it was damaged to get a free return as well. There maybe nothing wrong with the item.

If you are doing everything you can in terms of packaging it well and it is a one off complaint I wouldn’t worry about it. It will also be unlikely Amazon will take it any further.

Don’t assume Amazon will do any checking of your products on receipt or despatch. There is virtually no checking by Amazon, they may do something if the item looks obviously damaged but if it is boxed up they are unlikely to spot any issues.
