Looking for Admin Help - Order for Holiday Items Pending for over 4 weeks

Hi! I have a few orders that have been pending for a long time. All of the items are for holiday decorating so at this point the orders are holding inventory that needs to be sold before the holiday. I opened cases with seller support and they were not able to do anything. Can a moderator / admin help?

Case for order pending over 4 weeks - ID 14446371851

I have three orders for the same exact item pending for over two weeks. I am assuming it's the same buyer holding all of my inventory up: ID 14448791881.

Again, these are all for Christmas decorating and they long pending orders stopping my items from being sold. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You do not need any Amazon Armin. to tell you what is going on. simply by watching any talk show in TV, viewers are told to find what they think is the best price and place it in your cart. You don't have to buy it, but this action will hold the item for you for two weeks or more. You are under no obligation. to buy.

Good for the buyer, but as you are seeing, not so good for the seller. Amazon will not let you cancel pending orders.

If your metrics are good enough you can cancel the orders if and when they go through and add the pending back into your inventory. I admit Amazon may frown upon that but 4 weeks is too long to have to hold for any customer IMO

On a seasonal item like Christmas decor, if you suspect it is another seller holding your inventory, I would ad that amount of long pending orders back to my inventory so you can get it sold. However, you risk a chance the sale will go through and if you are then out of stock, you'll have to cancel and take the hit.

AMZ is supposed to delete them after 21 days- but they don;t always do that. We are all in BOGUS/Pending order hell! Some more than others.

Be thankful you have only a few we have over 12,000 of these fake orders...and AMZ deducts these from your inventory so both NOW and at YE good luck knowing what your actual inventory is!!

These orders are BOGU and are either buyers with no balance on their cc trying to see if AMZ will ship so they get the product for free, or its competitors trying to sell your available stock down so you can't sell it for week!

We sell first come first sever. If the customer has a bad card, the purchase will stay in pending. If inventory is low, we do not hold the item. This does not happen a lot, usually items only stay in pending for a couple of days. We take the hit if we have to. We keep our inventory up, so we do not have this situation often.
