HELP Amazon lost my whole shipment!!

So seems like every other shipment Amazon either Loses the whole shipment or partial and I'm tired of it! I have created other threads in the past about and and I just get smug responses from the mods like maybe FBA is not for me.

I sell used books and when Amazon loses the shipment the burdens on me to prove I own them ect. They want invoices like as if I bought them from a distributor but I get them from Goodwill which the receipt will not put the name of the book and they do not accept these as proof.

So what I was thinking was each shipment have a Proof of ownership Affidavit of each item in the box and then have a Notary right there at UPS stating that those exact books are in the box and sealed in front of them and then taken back for delivery. Wondering if this will work???

Do not sell anything through FBA that you do not have invoices for because they will confiscate your merchandise.

I wanted to address the specific question you asked here in the above quoted section. Unfortunately the proposed method would not work for Proof of Ownership documentation, as it still doesn't meet the specific requirements outlined in Seller Central - "Date of the purchase, Product names of the missing items, Quantity bought, Full name and address of the invoice issuer, Full name and address of the buyer."

I understand the frustration this has caused, but please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.
