And then i presume youd be happy for them to increase your fees to cover this. TEMU isplaying thelong game that i presume amazon has decided not to get involved with. With the aim of eliminating any competition by undercutting and over advertising to be able to gain high percentage of the market then increase prices when no competition left (Sound a familiar strategy). If amazon get involved in this fight it might be one they dont win your basically taking a nation on now somewhere like the UK amazon would not hesitate China however is a big competitor that you dont want to be fighting with.

Fees increases only for sellers, amazon dont believe in any other increases :). True that othe market players are gaining on amazon and first time in 10 years I feel like the growth for other players are permanant and not like the past when platforms came and disappeared.

They could do but this will come out of the sponsored budgets for sellers and see a lower ACOS.

Amazon don't really decide the bids, it is collective by sellers so it is not really a question does Amazon want to increase the bidding but does the seller wish to offer more.

Sellers advertising strategy and their keyword bids will determine whether this will be passed on. Unless sellers up the spend and bidding, Amazon are unlikely to subsidise it.

Whatever Amazon do generally for themselves and their own products is purely down to them.

Amazon buyers tend to stay loyal to amazon irrelevant to price. Temu could probably tip eBay though, which does appear to be on a spiral downward

There was lots of buzz about Temu at the start. I never engaged myself, but I do now hear remarks that people generally aren't happy with what they receive from Temu.

In the USA Temu are active in contacting Amazon small sellers to start selling on their platform, and are offering incentives to do so

Watched an interesting video on You tube last night

Apparently Temu and their parent company(shares dropped 25% recently) are in trouble with their low prices ,and also their suppiers in China who they are squeezing .

The US who have just passed a law , closing a loophole on TEMU sales on deminimus payments where they have not being paying the requsite Import taxes on items . They are also selling items that dont meet Safety Standards ie Elelectric shock problems or too much lead in childrens toys !

Seems that they are eventually caught out !
