Ridiculous A-Z Claim

We had one cusotmer open a claim saying the package was not received.

We contacted the customer and sent customer the tracking info, which shows the package was delivered.

After we sent customer the tracking link. Cusotmer closed the request. The claim was closed on the Amazon site and shows: Claim withdrawn: Oct 7, Order Defect Rate (ODR) impacted: No

One hour later, Amazon claim team sent us an email saying Amazon had granted the claim. Amazon page also shows "Seller-funded: Oct 7, Order Defect Rate (ODR) impacted: Yes"

We contacted the cusotmer . Cusotmer confirmed with us that they did not make any changes or reopen the claim.

Cusotmer even sent us a screenshot from his phone, which shows the claim refund was canceled on their end.

Why does the A to Z team make their own decision? Did they even follow Amazon's own policy?

Because it not Amazon's money and Amazon does not care. They know you (and almost every single seller) will not spend $2000.00 upfront to file for arbitration.

Exactly the same thing happened to one of my customer. The customer called me to confirm that he received the package on the 2nd day. And he also called Amazon to let them know. While Amazon still refunded the order amounts over $1100.

in my case! I provided the return label to the customer, she never returned the jacket and open a case that seller never provided the return label. She never talked to us about the label or anything. Amazon accepted the case and my ODR impacted by this order.

I again reopened a case and ask amazon that customer never send back the jacket how could I issue refund? and same msg to the buyer. Then buyer send out the jacket back to Amazon warehouse item is in transit now but I issued the refund now the case is closed but my ODR impacted due to not provided the return label :D

it seems like Amazon is always in rush whenever A-Z claim opened like a person sitting on a laptop to click on APPROVE button any time of the day :D

This has happened to me as well. Had two claims withdrawn and all the signed proof of delivery with photos. Provided it all to Amazon even though the claims were withdrawn and I shouldn't have had to do that. They still granted the claims and I lost the product, the money and my account was impacted.

I just had an A-Z appeal denied, even though the tracking (which I sent to Amazon) shows that the buyer's post office is still holding the item for pickup. Amazon really doesn't care if it's your money.

omg. This is why I do not sell anything over 200 or weighs more than 2lbs. I would speak to them and let them know that you do intend to collect the amount and they can choose to pay now and be a moral person.
