FBA "Missed Fulfillment Promise" Refunds.

Hello, over the past 3 days we have been hit with 27 Amazon FBA refunds all due to "Missed Fulfillment Promise". To our surprise (sarcasm) Amazon refunded the customers with OUR MONEY and are refusing to compensate us because "the fulfillment promise was not met with your customer"! How do we go about getting reimbursed for every order due to "missed fulfillment promise"? We pay amazon to fulfill our orders and Amazon guarantees both us as the seller and the buyer of 2 day shipping.. if Amazon can't hold their end of the bargain why is the seller charged the refund?! This would be like if we used USPS Priority Mail (2 Day) shipping for $15 and it wound up taking 4 days because USPS messed up and then USPS turning around and billing us $30. This is utter insanity. Any advice or tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as we attempt FULL COMPENSATION for these orders ($1,000), Thank you!

How about that. Amazon does not k=like reimbursing large sums of money to sellers. Most likely Amazon will try to wear you down to just give up. Selling FBA will eliminate this problem.

If you're seeing refunds marked "Missed Fulfillment Promise" it means that was the option selected by the buyer when requesting a return. In instances like this, Amazon will refund the buyer but request the item be returned. If it isn't returned to your inventory in 45 days you will be reimbursed by Amazon for the amount. I recommend monitoring both your inventory and your reimbursements closely over the coming weeks.

If you run into additional issues from there, please open a case with Seller Support (be sure to include any documentation you have for each order / refund).
