Really slow product launch, 200$ in PPC and just one sale.
Hello,
New seller here, recently launched our first product on 21st Dec, it's FBA. We designed a really beautiful product, and the quality of the images is really good, also the bullet points and title were carefully picked for relevant keywords.
We've been active for 15 days now on Amazon and got only 5 sales, -200$ on PPC, 0.1% CTR, 1500$ ACOS... also lowered our price consistently to have a competitive price. We don't have Brand Registry and we read this might negatively affect negatively on our Conversion Rate.
We would appreciate any advice on what our next steps should be to get more sales.

The first 3 things to consider when engaging in retail sales is always product, Product and PRODUCT. Whie it is nice and self-satisfying to design your own product, it is a log up-hill battle to get it recognized nationally. While vendors of advertising products, including Amazon, product a lot of hype about how necessary it is, they only wany your money.
Here are 5 considerations about advertising to consider.
1. The bottom line in advertising is this. Advertising will not sell a dead product that no one wants, and it you have a good selling product, it is not necessary. No alluding to that bottom line is ever stated publicly. Way too many new sellers select poor selling products for many different reasons. Then, because they have a personal desire to succeed, buy into the advertising hype as a solution, only to find our it was not effective.
2. Online advertising in any form, has a hidden agenda. To keep the seller’s offering price competitive with others. After all, the seller has to pay for the advertising, and to make the desired profit, has to keep the price higher to pay for it. Amazon selling is simple. Sell products that buyers want and need and offer them at the lowest price. A seller may keep their pricing higher to pay for the advertising, when the solution was simply to have the lowest price offering.
3. On Amazon, Advertising falls into the same category as using FBA. Always make sure you have test sold your product for a month or so before using either of the two Amazon services. That way you have a sales volume and expected profit earnings as a base to start from. You will be in a much better position to determine if you can still maintain your desired profit and pay all the fees Amazon will assess on the feature.
4. Pay attention to what is really is going on. Vendors of Advertising will distract YOUR attention from running your business. Cash flow is the life blood of every business. YOU purchased YOUR product with a specific amount of profit to be made. YOU know all the selling fees associated with selling and shipping the product. YOU set YOUR offering price. Vendors of Advertising give you all types of extra services, charts, conversion rates, etc. But while the seller focuses on all of those attractive features, they forget, the advertiser is quietly subtracting from YOUR UNEARNED DESIRED PROFIT. This will ofter lead to making no product at all on the advertised product. If purchasing advertising, always pay attention to YOUR Bottom Line First. Many sellers question where all their profit went simply because they didn’t pay attention to the business end of what is really going on.
5. Remember, all vendors of Advertising will make a profit off of sellers who purchase it whether or not the seller makes any sales at all.

Hi @Seller_W9hRbeGAMH81O,
Steve from Amazon here, thanks so much for reaching out and welcome to the forums!
I've reviewed your product detail page and agree that it looks very good, you did an excellent job creating your first detail page. One recommendation I have is to add a video showing your products use and results, this can help drive conversion.
As a brand owner, I highly recommend that you go through the process of registering your brand within the Amazon Brand Registry program. Not only will this allow you to unlock eligibility for a suite of tools that allows you to more easily manage your brand’s product listings, find and report IP violations, and prevent non-authentication. It may also unlock eligibility to free credits in our New Seller Incentive program.
One of the free credits that may be unlocked is our Vine program. Amazon Vine invites the most trusted reviewers on Amazon to post opinions about new products to help their fellow customers make informed purchase decisions. Getting reviews on your product detail page is an excellent way to help improve the sales ranking of the page, build customer trust, and improve conversion. Even if you don't qualify for the free credit, I still recommend that you enroll this new product in the Vine program.
I am dropping some additional resources below that I recommend you review as well.
