How to win Safe-T for "Item arrived too late" return reason when the order did arrive on time?

Hello,

Has anyone successfully been able to win a Safe-T claims for the return shipping costs on orders where buyers use "Item arrived too late" return reason when the order did actually arrive in the promised window timeframe on the order? We process and use Amazon buy shipping on all our orders.

It's been extremely frustrating lately with the large amounts of returns with this same return reason as "Item arrived too late" and all but 1 show delivered within the order delivery timeframe.

I am trying to get reimbursed the return shipping cost only. I am explaining my story to Safe-T as clearly as I can by stating the order was shipped and delivered in the timeframe window as outlined in the order and that the buyer is using an inaccurate return reason code.

My claims are being denied for the following reason:

The issue you reported is not covered by the Prepaid Returns for Seller Fulfilled Order program. The item you requested reimbursement for return label cost is eligible for free returns.

If a buyer contacts you and states the order arrived too late and you used Amazon's buy shipping and the first scan by your carrier was on or before the ship by date, instruct your buyer to file an A to Z claim. Amazon will fund the claim, but not find you responsible. A safety claim is when Amazon refunds the buyer based on a return request, not a claim.

How was the buyer refunded? Was it through a claim or a return request? If it was through a return request, then include the tracking information from the original order. If you allow Amazon to perform your customer service duties, then you will not be reimbursed as noted regarding the Prepaid Returns for Seller Fulfilled Order program. If you don't want this to happen in the future, disenroll from that program.
