Need Help with Brand Registry and Statement of Use Requirement
Hello,
We have successfully registered our brand with Amazon Brand Registry, and the registration has been approved. Additionally, our trademark registration with the USPTO has been completed. Our attorney, who handled the trademark registration, asked whether we need to file a Statement of Use, but we are unsure if this is required for selling on Amazon.
We reached out to Amazon Brand Registry support but did not receive a clear answer. Therefore, I am reaching out here to ask: Is filing the Statement of Use necessary for maintaining our ability to sell on Amazon, or is our current Brand Registry status sufficient?

This is definitely an interesting question.
Since a trademark is not required to sell on Amazon, a Statement of Use is not required to sell either. I am not a licensed attorney and this is not legal advice as I can only speak to Amazon policy. I highly recommend speaking to your attorney about when this is required as the governing body to require a Statement of Use appears to be the USPTO based on what I'm reading from their website!
