Ship By, Deliver By, Etc. - Can someone clarify?

I'm trying to figure out all the various dates I see from Amazon. This is for FBM only.

Two basic questions:

(1) What does the date of first scan need to be based on the information below? Typically we ship (as in this case) on Monday afternoon, and the carrier scans on Tuesday.

(2) Is this shipment covered under Amazon Buy Now policy? If not, why not?

Here is what I see from the order screen:

img

Shipped via UPS, used Amazon Buy Shipping. Customer claims INR. Here are the dates showing in the customer's message:

img

This order appears on my OTDR report (it was late, apparently). The OTDR report shows:

Order date 7/6/24 18:57:51 GMT (7/6/24 11:57:51 PDT)

Promised ship date 7/9/24 06:59:59 GMT (7/8/24 23:59:59 PDT)

Ship confirmation date 7/8/24 14:24:24 GMT (7/8/24 07:24:24 PDT)

Carrier first scan date 7/9/24 16:27:00 GMT (7/9/24 09:27:00 PDT)

Promised delivery date without a promise extension 7/13/24 06:59:59 GMT (7/12/24 23:59:59 PDT)

Promised delivery date with a promise extension 7/13/24 06:59:59 GMT (7/12/24 23:59:59 PDT)

Actual delivery date 7/14/24 01:31:00 GMT (7/13/24 18:31:00 PDT)

And, finally, UPS tracking shows delivery at 07/13/2024 6:31 P.M.

Thanks.

Package needs to be scanned by the carrier by the "Ship by Date". From your post, it was delivered late.

Did you buy Amazon shipping?

@Jim_Amazon Here's the issue: ALL of the times and dates are from the OTDR report (orders that didn't meet OTD). Where can we see these dates and times BEFORE SHIPPING THE ORDER?
