Printing labels for single orders or reprinting labels MAJOR ISSUE (Please Help)

Hey!

So if i bulk buy and print labels i have no issues at all. But for example if i make a mistake and get the wrong type of shipping for one of these and go to refund my label get the right one and need to print it, it does not size it correctly for 4x6.

Also if for any reason you need to reprint a label on its own it will do the same thing. I get no options to adjust size pre print, other than the standard pdf options that do not help.

It makes it smaller to print a whole page and then needs to be cut. There is no way to fix this from what I can find in the pdf settings, at all. I have searched and searched...

This also happens when trying to purchase a single label from scratch... Is anyone else having this issue, am I overlooking something simple? This is driving me nuts!

And causing me major time loss. This does not happen on any other platform.

Also Amazon can we please get a cheap tracked envelope option like ebay and etsy 0.63 cent option pretty please!???

We print individual labels with an HP LaserJet printer with no problems.

  1. We use the manual feed tray.
  2. We cut paper into 4 x 6 labels from a sheet of paper.
  3. We load those into the manual tray.
  4. We create an option in the printer settings that sets the manual tray to be a 4 x 6 piece of paper with 0.3 margins on all sides.
  5. Prior to printing, we select the manual tray option as the default for printing.
  6. When the Amazon label pops up, we again select the size 4 x 6 paper (you have to do this for Firefox).
  7. Then we print and the label comes out fine.

Once done with label, we reset the default printing tray to the normal size paper tray (for us that is tray 3 but could be tray 2 for most people). The next full page item from Firefox (like a packing slip) just needs to have the page size selected again.

Note: We can even use a 4 x 5 1/2 size paper as the label (which gives us 4 labels per one 8.5 x 11 standard size paper.

but for single labels or reprints it is never ever correct.

It sounds like a printer setting or a browser setting then. Chrome has a setting that allows for the PDF to be opened by Chrome. If you have this as the setting, you might try setting PDFs to open by default with Adobe and then print from Adobe.

Hey @Seller_5EZ17A1qbDOK1,

Checking in here to see if you were able to correct this by having the PDFs open by default in Adobe and then printing from there? Let me know!
