Product Images changed all of a sudden and can't change back

I’ve been running into a frustrating issue that seems to be popping up across various Amazon seller discussions. Just like others have reported, one of my ASINs suddenly switched all its images back to what they were over 5 years ago, and I have no luck updating. I’ve tried the usual fix—deleting and re-uploading the images—but I’m still stuck.

Here’s something odd: This isn’t the first time I've seen this glitch this year, but my usual fixes aren’t working this time. I’ve removed the images, pulled the listings, changed the images, and used the Global upload images tool as well.

- We are brand owners, there are no competing sellers, and no one is hijacking our listing, I understand one of the listings/countries is contributing to the images but I cannot find it.

- We've recently updated our UK business information and completed some compliance approvals, perhaps someone from one of those teams pressed a button.

- No other products in our catalog observed this issue, only one single ASIN.

- We've deleted some parent variation listings recently, which may have triggered something, but the LIVE images are not uploaded anywhere that I can see.

This issue isn’t just happening in one place; it’s affected the same ASIN in the UK, USA, Canada, and the EU. Strangely enough, I fixed it in Canada and the EU by deleting and re-uploading several times in various places. However, nothing I’ve tried has worked for the UK and USA. I believe they are linked somehow within the Amazon catalog.

The last resort is to delete everything and start again, but I hope it doesn't come to that as I've fixed similar issues in the past without doing so. These outdated images are not accurate at all and could really start to affect our sales.

Could any support staff help me figure this out?
