Amazon returns

In the last week we have have nearly £1500 in returns - where amazon have given the money back to customers. We have looked at return reports and seen the money going out and the (spurious) reason for refund (found cheaper etc) - not as expected). but cannot find the stock. What happens when amazon refund but they do not get the item back - what happens to the stock?

Assuming your actually talking about FBA, the customer will have been refunded, but the stock has probably not been returned yet.
If they don’t return it within a certain period of time, then you should be reimbursed for it.
It’s something that you should check on a regular basis, as it quite often happens, that they don’t actually refund it.

That seems like a lot of returns unless you’re selling high price items. Anyone setting on Amazon should know that they always go with the customer, money background guarantee, I sell a lot of low-value goods Most of the time the return cost is more than I sell the item for, but there is nothing you can do just add it into your pricing
