Do I need Seller Central to sell as a private seller?
I'm closing my business but do I also need to close my Seller Central account to sell as a private seller?
I'm going through another account verification for the business but don't see the point of sending the documentation when I will be ending trading as a business before the Windsor Framework kicks in.
When I asked seller support they said 'Based on your message, it looks like you are trying to close your account. Account closure can be completed using the following tool:'

If you plan to sell as a private individual ie. with an Individual Seller Account (the legal entity), and not a business such as sole-trader, then you can ONLY sell your own personal second-hand items and not NEW goods.(private seller is not same as sole-trader). - is that what you intend ? You cannot continue to sell your labels (or whatever) as NEW if you close your account.
You still need to be registered as a seller though on Seller Central, but I can see that that might cause a few problems if you use some of the same info ie. name, address etc.
I guess it may be possible to change your legal entity from your business to Individual, but really don't know.
