IS SELLING ON AMAZON A SCAM!? MAYBE THE WORLD SHOULD KNOW!

Hi

I am so frustrated! I have had what seems like fraudulent activity on my account for months with "other buyers" I think it is one buyer with multiple accounts trying to harm my business and will buy my product and then return it. I have way too much evidence to show that it has to be fraudulent. I am only selling one product as I wanted to see if I could make this a success and if I did so, then would proceed to sell other products.

Anywho, for months I have been trying to report abuse under "another buyer account is attempting to harm my business" but that is not a category. So, when I choose ANY of the categories(which messages will not show which category I have chosen and this needs to be changed for better support) someone will respond or "answer my question/case" by telling me to choose a different category to report the issue. I called and did the same thing. They will direct me to someone else. I am just going around in circles after circles for months and no one will actually look into my account purchases for suspicious activity. And when someone does respond by telling me to go somewhere else to report my case will have been "answered" so no one will look at it again. So who will investigate!? Who will help me? Also, when I report abuse under most abuse categories -- you only get around 500 words or something to use. It's like what!? That is not enough room to input my complaint. AMAZON is a BIG company and with any big company, there are scammers and people trying to harm other people's business. But does Amazon care!? Does their customer service even come close to sufficing or helping the seller's needs!?

SELLING ON AMAZON UP TO THIS POINT HAS FELT LIKE ONE BIG SCAM! The one product I have tried to sell has repetitive fraudulent buyers costing me account health and 100's, filing cases for help has cost me a lot of time, and no one will help me. And if they do investigate it and find it fraudulent, would they even help me set my account health straight? Where it needs to be? From what I hear they will somehow blame it on the seller that it was their fault for potentially having a third party involved at some point or point the finger back at us. THIS IS UNJUSTICE!

You would think with all the money that Amazon makes that they would invest more into helping the sellers with better support and care. And, you would think that they would have one of the best fraudulent or scam detection programs. And that there would be better and quicker investigators. With all the money they are making they should spend more to make our lives easier, not harder. Could someone please explain to me what they are charging us for under the "others" category? Because I just think that is ridiculous for a huge corporation to not list exactly what they are charging their employees.

I was scammed by a customer as well with no help from amazon. Products ordered to warehouse addresses, claimed to have not been delivered when they were. Once I proved through USPS that they were delivered, they were "magically found" and then returned to me damaged. Customer was charged a restock fee and they disputed the credit card charge twice. Amazon does nothing to back up their sellers.

We just got robbed $1100 from Amazon due to an abusive buyer. Amazon let them walk all over us. We're trying to fight it, but it's looking hopeless at this point.

I disagree.

Selling on Amazon IS difficult, and requires the Seller become aware of potential pitfalls by providing Amaozn Seller University.

Based on soooo many posts I read here, many, if not MOST do NOT take advantage of this valuable resource.

And then they post here about some Negative Consequence they are currently experiencing because they (unknowingly) violated Amazon Policy.

Selling on Amazon IS complicated, and fraught with perils for those who simply "Jump In" before learning how to swim.

No, Selling on Amazon is not a "Scam".

Social Media posts and videos that claim that Selling on Amaozn is an easy way to get rich...

Now THOSE are all a Scam!

Reading your post has me confused as to your specific problem. I had a listing hijacked once and I WAS able to get Amazon to restore everything correctly, so I am unsure where your problem lies.

Good Luck!

It's sad to see how far downhill Amazon has tumbled. 5 years ago they were an Amazing place for small businesses to thrive. Now instead of helping small businesses grow and in turn generating more profit as they grew. They simply take as much as they can from us and give away anything a customer tells them too. Its absurd that if you try to get a refund from something sold and shipped from Amazon after the 30 day period without the holiday extension, is literally impossible. Yet they give away our funds when people file an A to Z 6 months after buying form us. They grant an A to Z 2 days after the expected delivery date even though tracking shows a delay and it is out for delivery. They take more and more. Add more and more restrictions. Add more and more mandatory labor involved procedures all while restricting the amount we charge to be as cheap as the cheapest place found online or making us attempt to compete with Amazon prices which is next to impossible on lower cost items. All while giving more and more of our inventory and money away to entitled customers who Amazon has made all to clear that they will give away anything from their sellers as long as the customer complains.

You can prevent this by purchasing postage using Amaozn Buy Shipping and shipping On-Time as scheduled by Amazon.

If you do, Amazon will protect you from ANY A-Z Claim arising from ANY "Problem with Delivery", including Running Late.

Also, please try to break-up your thoughts into separate paragraphs. It is much easier for the reader.

If someone report on product or refund then next 24 hours ad Keywords works negative. Ad spending but no sale. They are doing every 1/2 days. So, I can't sell and loosing full money. Selling on Amazon is certainly a scam of numbers. theft in warehouses, cusrtomers scamming for free product. Fees on top of fees.

Yes selling on Amazon is a scam we all buy into until we learn the truth, then we freak out trying to save our businesses.

No product is safe to buy due to Amazon platform being hacked by back end APIs, even 'buy again' results in a fake items shipped to repeat customers.

In my opinion Amazon is the worlds largest counterfeit marketplace, even moreso than Alibaba.

Fingers crossed the next administration will dismantle Amazon and put an end to the non stop flow of counterfeit and unsafe items sold all across Amazon.

I'm facing same from a competitor. Product purchase and then return, report and took refund from various Prime account. If someone report on product or refund then next 24 hours ad Keywords works negative. Ad spending but no sale. They are doing every 1/2 days. So, I can't sell and loosing full money. This is fully scam
