Selling in UK with USA LLC
Hi,
I am starting to sell in UK marketplace With Amazon USA account do I have to register for VAT before selling or when I cross the threshold of 85,000 pound or can I apply for VAT and before its issued can I start selling?
I am a US citizen and my account is based with USA LLC but I have opened the UK market place to sell their and I am confused with VAT.
Can anyone help?

Are you storing stock in uk fba warehouses or 3rd party warehouses ?
Or are you shipping directly from US to UK buyers ?

There is no threshold for foreigners, and also foreigners can not store anything in the UK without registering either. Make sure amazon has your registration before your stuff arrives at the warehouse, because you’re not even allowed to deliver it there without registration.
If you’re not storing, and sending from abroad, then you would have to find a DDP delivery service to send from abroad yourself, as amazon doesn’t allow customs charges or VAT fees for customers.
