how to start selling my art

So I'm not sure if I made the right account for this. But I have art work that I made and I would like to sell it on Amazon. I made a seller account but I dont want to sell other peoples products, I want to sell my own product that I made. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you :)

I believe that would fall under the Amazon Handmade section... I don't personally know anything about that, but I know there's a special group for Handmade that may have helpful resources for you:

If you have your account active, congrats. Best advice is ignore anything you learned on TikTok or YouTube. There is a lot of bad and outdated advice out there.

Seller University should always be a starting place for research. The Forums are not as good as they used to be. If you post in the "New Sellers" area, veterans cannot answer your questions. There may be more moderators though, who are sometimes helpful. I don't know.

You may want to consider selling through "Amazon Handmade". It is more flexible (my understanding) than the regular listing methods.

You need to create a new listing and probably get a GTIN exemption. This allows you to list without a UPC number. (Handmade may have special rules so read about that first.)

Consider other marketplaces as well. Etsy used to be more receptive to creative works, and I still sell there as a small manufacturer. Today's Etsy seems to be losing its focus, and I see a lot of the stuff there that is in no way unique.

Welcome to the machine.
