FBA Removal Order Return Issue - Empty Box Sent Back - What Needs to be done

Hi,

We have created removal orders from our FBA items. These were shipments. But what we are seeing these days is more than 50% we are receiving only empty boxes. Infact for some SKUs even the empty boxes are not there. Nothing is there. As these are bulk shipments so we are receiving these boxes in different shipping groups through different carriers. In some boxes we don't even have the packing slips.

For example, our removal order was of 81pcs but we only received 41pcs and rest empty boxes or nothing at all. In another shipment, order was for 202pcs, but we received 82pcs only. Rest were either empty boxes or nothing at all. We did raise a case for one return of missing items, but Amazon is not supporting in this, as they are asking for some information which we don't have.

Is this common issue and faced by others too? Or this is something new that is occurring? Can someone guide.

I would also appreciate it if you can give me some more details about the issue.

Are the empty boxes you are receiving shipping boxes or packaging boxes? Are these removals of damaged or returned items, or standard inventory?
