Why does Amazon UK keep charging my credit card for payments that should be deducted from my account balance?

I am trying to settle my VAT liability and have sufficient funds across different currencies in my account to cover it. The Merchant Credit Team confirmed via email (mdri-exec-escalations@amazon.co.uk) that any balance in excess of my GBP balance would be recovered from my other accounts.

However, Amazon UK continues to charge my credit card on file. I reached out to mdri-exec-escalations@amazon.co.uk for clarification 10 days ago but have not received a response.

I also submitted a ticket to merchant support, but my case was "Transferred" and remains unresolved. The case ID is 10017151972.

I would like to settle my VAT liability using the withheld funds from my accounts, not my credit card, as previously agreed.

Could someone please assist with this matter?

We've already paid via Wire Transfer a week ago and sent the payment information to merchant-balance@amazon.co.uk as instructed. Yet, Amazon continues to charge my credit card on file until it got declined. Now, I don't have full access to my seller account due to an "Invalid Charge Method." And our funds across several marketplaces remain on hold. We've overpaid this liability, and Amazon still treats us like we're trying to take money from them. It's even more pathetic that I have to come to the forum for help because Seller Support and the Merchant Credit Team are utterly useless. This is beyond ridiculous.

Any luck getting an update now? @Spencer_Amazon @Ezra_Amazon @Winston_Amazon @Julia_Amazon @Sakura_Amazon
