Selling your inventory to other amazon sellers

Hi i am wanting some advice please

Due to unforeseen circumstances I am going to stop selling on amazon. I have 280 products in my inventory left which i need rid of as amazon are still charging me storage fee. I am having problems with the sponsored add part, I have a budget of £10 a day but for some reason its not doing anything and has only used 69p in 3 days.

Can you sell inventory to other sellers

Many thanks

You can sell to other sellers - outside of Amazon's website. Someone has to pay to remove all the items from FBA though as they can't be moved to another seller.

Your other options are liquidation if you are VAT registered or of course disposal.

You maybe better to remove your inventory and sell it to another seller as a bulk job lot.

If you own your own brand you may need to give the seller you sell the items permission to list under that brand if they want to sell it on Amazon. This is normally done via a Letter Of Authority.

You would need to consider how attractive the item would be to another seller. If you are struggling to sell the 280 items, why would another seller succeed? Why would they want a product that is difficult to sell?

Other option would be to reduce the price of the item and just sell it for what you can get.

I had 50 items that were not selling even with ads. One evening I had too many gnts and was so fed up I lowered all prices to minimal cost price. Everything was gone by the morning lol. Couldn't believe it. I thought people couldn't even find the listings or something. Finally got rid of them all. Wishing you luck.

Reduce the price and get rid of them.

Selling to other sellers is a time taking process and needs a lot of energy as well. 280 units not a lot, lower the price and see them flying off.

Don't make things complicated for yourself.
